What’s the big deal about EVT scooters?

Because of their extraordinary performance, EVT electric scooters have won the German Energy Saving Contest for several years.

EVT scooters have obtained international approval certifications such as EU certification, U.S.A. DOT certificate, Canada CMVSS certificate and the Australia ADR certificate.

EVT scooters are exported to the US, Canada, Germany, France, England, Italy, Switzerland, Ireland, Spain and countries in Eastern Europe.

EVT Technology produces the majority of its electric scooter parts including the motor, controller, charger and converter. EVT Technology is therefore the only electric scooter manufacturer with its own technology, instead of just assembling scooters. This ensures that quality matters are within EVT's direct control and has resulted in a highly reliable product range.

EVT scooters offer aesthetic design, unique in the current scooter market, and two advanced features that set them apart from their rivals, the ‘direct driven hub motor’ and the ‘digital intelligent controller system’.

Hub motor

The motor for the electric scooter is specially designed and installed inside the wheel. This direct driven hub motor, the first of its kind to be introduced offers a number of advantages including a greater degree of efficiency that reduces the overall cost of running (EVT scooters have no belts and no manual gears).

The electric motor is also able to produce greater torque at both low and high speeds than regular scooters.

Digital controller

The digital intelligent controller system keeps the driver informed of all aspects of the scooter’s status. It offers the following advanced features:

1. Over-heat Protection: When the system's temperature reaches the upper limit, the system will supply only half power or shut down to protect the motor.

2. Over Current Protection: When the driven current reaches the upper limit and lasts for a set time, the power will shut off to protect the motor.

3. Battery Energy Management: Battery energy indicator on the dashboard keeps driver informed of battery status.

4. Dual Driving Modes - Power (P)/Economy (E) : Available to suit different driving requirements and road conditions. Using Economy driving mode will consume less power and maximise driving range.

5. Power Cut Off While Braking: To prevent accelerating and braking at the same time which wastes battery energy.

Advancing battery technology

In developing its scooters, EVT has cooperated with the major battery manufacturers in the world and with time better battery technology is expected to improve performance even further. It’s a simple task to replace the current generation of batteries with newer ones. EVT scooters will run on new batteries as long as they produce the same voltage output.

EVT's chief goal is the continuous development and modification of the product. Through its strong relations with lithium battery manufacturers, future scooters will be lighter, more powerful and require battery charging only once every 2-3 days. EVT currently has more than 20 people dedicated to research and development.

Established market reputation and usability

The scooters weigh approximately 128kg and have a maximum speed of 50km/hr with a driving range of 65-80 km per battery charge, depending on speed, rider weight, tyre pressure and road conditions. Considering that most people live within a few kilometers of their work, this provides ample range for anyone wishing to reduce their environmental footprint.

In today’s market EVT scooters combine high technology and environmental protection, easy operation and long drive range. EVT scooters have been exported to countries across Europe including Germany, Sweden, the UK, Switzerland, Holland and Italy.

With hundreds of thousands of scooters being used in the world today, buying electric will make a significant contribution to reducing carbon emissions and reducing noise pollution in cities and villages.
